Everything you need to know about how Etsy charges sellers.
Etsy charges $0.20 USD per listing. When you sell, the listing is automatically renewed for another $0.20. Listings also auto-renew after their four-month listing period unless you disable that.
Etsy takes 6.5% of the total order, including the item price, shipping, and gift wrapping. It does not apply to sales tax.
Etsy Payments charges a percentage plus a flat fee per transaction. In the US that's 3% + $0.25. Rates vary by country (typically 3–6.5%). The percentage applies to the full order including shipping.
If Etsy attributes a sale to one of its Offsite Ads, they take a cut: 15% if your shop made under $10,000 in the past 365 days, or 12% if you made $10,000+. Shops over $10k are enrolled automatically and can't opt out.
